Talia Cantrelle Hyatt

Talia Hyatt is currently the Choral intern at Nathan Hale and West Allis Central High Schools. She is also the Assistant Music Director of the district wide musical production, All Together Now. She will graduate with a Bachelor's degree of Music Education - Choral/General, K-12 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in December of 2021.

Talia established herself as an emerging educator through Cantrelle Studios, her private music studio for voice, piano, and guitar lessons. She also has experience as a practice group leader, section leader, choral aid, and student conductor at UW Oshkosh and UW Eau Claire. For a year and a half, Talia was the music director for a collegiate A Cappella group, Audacious, where she arranged music, ran rehearsals, and was responsible for planning long term musical accomplishments. 

She also participated in an international choir tour to Central Europe with the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in winter of 2017. Talia has experience as a worship leader in her college Christian community, Chi Alpha, as well as in a church setting. Additionally, Talia spent the Summer of 2018 as a camp counselor at French Woods Performing Arts Camp in New York working with theater productions, music lessons, dance classes, and other arts performances.

Additionally, Talia has been a featured soloist in many of her collegiate concerts, at weddings, and recitals. She began taking vocal and piano lessons at the age of 9 and has been studying music diligently ever since. Talia is dedicated to achieving excellence in music and implements the same values into her students.
